I studied history much when I go going to college . It is just amazing how much change that has taken place over the course of time. The idea of someone being an immortal and living for hundreds of years in this world is outragous. The US is only 250 years of age whereas countries over in europe are much older. England has been around since the medival times and so has France and Spain. Italy and Germany were once a coglomerate of states that unified over time. England once rules a fourth of the landmass in the world. The medival times experience much upheavel from the four crusades to the 100 years war between Engalnd and France. Just observe changes that took place from 1900 to 2000 alone. You have two world wars, a cold war between the east and west and a great depression. Who knows what will take place between 2000 to 2100. Perhaps another world war, another world depression and even a near extinction of mankind itself. Just the events that took place in my personal life alone is much. Who knows what is happening in another persons life. The world and our personal lives are always changing. There have been many events in the history of the world that have changes humanity forever. You had the rise and fall of Babylon, Persia, Macedonia and Rome. History is very interesting. You can learn so much from it is you just study it enough. There are many lessons to be learned. It is amazing still that the US used to just be 13 colonies and from there to here. US purchased the Louisana territory from France and Alaska from Russia. We took the remaining west from the Indians and invaded Mexico to get much of the south. Texas was an independent country at one time a joined us. Independent Republic of Texas. Much I am sure was happening in Europe also. The scandinavian territory is one that is very interesting.
