1, not necessarily. My son will dump his food anywhere if he's in a hurry to go play or something. Regardless of whether he is still hungry or the food tasted good/bad. Kids are impatient.
Precious is right, kids are impatient. They have one-track minds and will do whatever it takes to be allowed to play. This doesn't mean the OP makes bad sandwiches. Plus, who doesn't like their momma's cooking? Honestly.
Oh lord. I'm not looking forward to all of the sammich jokes to follow. *Hides behind #10's comment*
thats kids for you....... very eager to play, doesnt necessarily mean OP's sandwich was awful
You need to 'trainer' on how to throw food she's not gonna eat into the bin. ;) Or the compost heap. Hopefully she won't have to 'sneaker' food into hiding places. I'm sure the food was 'boot'iful. Have a 'converse'ation about it, but don't let it turn 'ugg'ly. And all will be well... ington.
that's why my mom never forced me and my sisters to eat! we were hungry she'd make us something we were full we'd get up and put our plate on the counter or in the fridge and go play! we never finished our food it usually took us about 3 days to finish our afternoon sandwich when we were 12...
um no im not! i have an eating disorder thank you very much! and I have a boyfriend and we've been together for 3 years now!
haha owned and maybe you should make her Learn some respect and that everyone isn't so lucky to have a house or food and that people are homeless and are starving on the streets and dieing...
When kids don't like their food, they'll find creative ways of getting rid of it.
Did this make anyone else think of the Spongebob episode where he got the suds and Patrick put peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on his feet?
My cousin would throw her corn to her dog when I wasnt looking. I was wondering why she was giggling for 10 minutes before I caught her throwing it. She was a sneaky little shit.
she was just being creative and made herself a foot long. actually, p o s does sound good right now.
She probably wasn't hungry anymore and wanted to go play, she's just a child.
It's a bit cute though, and a very original hiding place (;
haha I used to do that all the time as a child whenever my parents made me food that I didn't like or didn't feel like eating.,
When I was younger, it was hiding pizza slices under the stove. It's common for kids.
When she is hungry later, give her the other half of the sandwhich she stuffed into your shoe.
When i wouldnt like the food at others's homes, i would hide my food under other larger food stuff on my plate so that it looked like i left a small portion uneaten :P :P
When I was younger I would always put the food I didn't want at the bottom of the garbage. No one would find it unless they dug through it!
22- OP isn't the parent. They say "young niece" in the first sentence. And we also don't know if OP is even female.
Aha - of course. I was meaning to say Aunt, though now that I think of it, it could be an uncle.
No one likes their uncle's cooking. >.>
but they were yummy! I loved the vitamin c ones coz they tasted like oranges :)
It's a life altering situation OP is in. Everyone, to the nearest bomb shelter- it's going to explode!
Can't see why the kid wouldn't take her sandwich to play with her, if she was in a hurry, unless it was awful.
You should have made it with your hands then. She was just showing you what it tasted like.
