I consider myself straight. And yet there's this girl, whom I've known forever, who I can't help but feel attracted to. She's full-on lesbian, so it's not like getting her attention would be a problem. Except that 1: We're so close that we're practically sisters, so if we ever got intimate, it'd be a bit...weird. Not gross, just weird. And 2: She just split up with somebody, so if I talk to her about my feelings NOW, it'd be the clumsiest of rebounds in the history of rebounds. 3: If we DID end up in a relationship together, and something happened where we ended up breaking up, I couldn't bare it. She's one of my greatest friends, and to lose her trust and faith in me would crush every fiber of my being.
