Sitting here in a room full of people and I've huddled myself into a corner. Earlier today I was outgoing and fun an cracking jokes. I just want to run out of here with my middle finger hitting the air. But I have to be here and it's literally torture. I need to keep typing here so that I don't just sit awkwardly by myself, hating every second of this. Of I keep typing, it should be ok. But how long can I keep this up for? Will it be so bad if I just leave? This social awkwardness is just horrible. The last time I felt this way was when my ex always wanted me to hang out with his friends.

I rarely have professional respect for people that don't have a technical education or core science/engineering skills. Especially people like "Project Managers" and "Client Relationship Managers." I act like they are peers and as smart as me and as important, but really I think that they are mostly just low-worth individuals that I have to deal with to buy cool toys for the big brains to play with. Only a few really good ones are worthwhile, the rest are mostly helpless and clueless and I can do their job better than they can.

Seriously your frantic typing is extremely annoying. You see that I am trying to write a paper, so shut the fuck up and stop typing like a crazed maniac. You're writing a book. Really? You know that's not going anywhere, right? You're typing fast because you are making something for fun. And your music is loud. Can you kindly shut the fuck up? Here I am, trying to make sense of this history shit so I can write this paper, and do you care? Nope. Again, you're writing a book. And technically, your plagiarizing because you are using someone else's comic and making a book out of the story line. So I suggest that you go to bed so I can concentrate because if I do not do this paper, then I fail the class. Do you want that? I need to work in complete silence. I have to read 40 pages of sources and then analyze them. ALL OF THEM. So I bet you would need fucking peace and quiet to do the same, so turn off the music and the computer, and go to bed to I can work and be to myself without noise coming from your side of the room, you fucking inconsiderate bitch. If you are waiting for some kind of signal to do something that you want to do, this is it. You have to stay strong and go through the worst to get to the good parts. Trust me, life might seem miserable right now, but it can change, I know it myself. I was extremely miserable a few years ago, I didn't believe I could actually be happy but I am now, and it's worth it. I know a simple confession won't be life-changing, but I still hope that this will make someone feel at least a little better. This might seem cheesy, but remember that someone out there cares about you, even if they haven't met you yet.

I thought I'd never say this but I miss high school. High school was awful. But it was better than this. At least I had friends then. Now, 3 years later, I'm just a schmuck who hides from everything. I just want to feel safe again, safe enough to meet new people. I don't even remember how I made friends before, and the whole process just makes no sense to me now. If there is any omniscient force out there, please release me from my shackles and let me live the life I was promised.
